R9+ R10 EASTNOR CASTLE- Change of race area - 12 Aug 2008

The nitroXcross R9 & R10 EASTNOR CASTLE pre allocated race/camping are has been re-located from previous years area to a more central site. Enter the exhibition via entrance opposite Eastnor Castle gateway past wood yard and once up the hill over looking the valley continue on tarmac road that decends off the ridge, go over the bridge. Once off the bridge bear left where you will see rostrum and track on RH just off tarmac road. Camp up neatly in rows between red and white tape leaving gangway for access. The site is flat and dry with easy access off tarmac road and central for other attractions click to enlarge

The nitroXcross R9 & R10 EASTNOR CASTLE meeting on 16th-17th Aug entry list is on tag ENTRY LIST These entries received at 10th Aug and gate passes been sent out. This meeting needs a gate pass so send in ENTRY FORM plus enclosing race fees. Email in entry details to get into meeting and passes will be sent outon receiving Stamped addressed Envelope. nitroXcross R11 & R12 FAST TRACKS - Series end Prizes meeting is on 13th-14th Sept and entry address will be advised soon as Fast Track entry has movrd. Email entry race details to >> youngyftrc@blueyonder.co.uk <<. At this meeting the championship best of 7 results class winner will be awarded with Truggy and 1/8th kits for Truggy and 1/8th winners. Back up prizes will handed out to runners up.

1/8 - 08 series at LEDBURY - very dusty - 30 Jul 2008

With Ledbury members praying for a couple of wet days to firm up the newly built track regretably te encountered the driest spell of the summer. The track showed its potential on the first 2 rounds as great elevation and superb jumping of doubles and triples but as the jumps got pounded the day jumps take off surfaces reformed. 1/8 - 08 series meeting run at Ledbury revised track - 27th July - 15 Jul 2008

The next 1/8 - 08 series meeting is being run at Ledbury 27th July and open to 1/8RallyX and Truggies. Take the opportunity to race on the recontoured Ledbury track as earth moving equipment being employed to create new humps, bumps, banking and table tops making a vastly revised track. Border 1/8 Regional / BCL R5 - Telford Hot Trax 13th July - 13 Jul 2008

R5 of the Border Regional/BCL 2008 series was hosted by Telford and the club put on a really good drivers track using the steep banks to good effect. Excellent mixture of classes made a relaxed day's racing and sun all day was an added bonus to this very enjoyable meeting. See Telford Reginal images on link TELFORD PICTURES. Next meeting in the series is at Haberdasher on 31st August.
